Description

PMIPv6 (Proxy Mobile IP Version 6) is a new mobility protocol currently developed by IETF.
RFC: http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc5213.html

The aim is to provide overview into its architecture:
  • packet types used (with most important fields explained)
  • most important protocol procedures illustrated
  • how does PMIPv6 achieve what MIPv6 could not
